For three decade now we have had a new Spenser novel published in March, and since 1997 the Jesse Stone and Sunny Randall books have alternated each September.  Well, that has all been changed, and from now on it will be Spenser in September and the others appearing when the publisher decides enough time has passed, with a few TV movies here and there.

It's the story of two teenagers, Bobby and Joanie and is set in 1946.  Was it Bobby who carved "RP+JH" in a diner tabletop in Playmates and a desktop in Love and Glory?

No information at this time but it looks to be the next Spenser novel.

 

Parker sends in a novel every two months or so and the publisher may be taking a chance that his fans will buy a new one that often.  At signings he often mentions that he's six or seven books ahead and can't remember details about the one in your hands, so until further information comes along we can only speculate.
